Rajma Masala Recipe Ingredients 500gms of Rajma Seeds 4 tblspns Vegetable Oil 1No Bay leaf 1Nos Whole black cardamom 6 Medium sized Onions chopped finely 6 Large Ripe tomatoes Pureed 3 Green Chills slit 2 tspn Coriander pwdr 1tspn Kashmiri chilli pwdr ¼ tspn Cumin pwdr 1/4 tspn Garam Masala 2 tspns Rajma Masala (MDH brand) Salt to taste ½ tspn cooking soda Mint Leaves for garnish Method Soak the Rajma overnight and pressure cook with the cooking soda. Let the pressure cooker whistle 5-6 times. Heat the pan with the oil and add onions and green chilies and ginger garlic paste let the onion turn brown then add the pureed tomatoes and let it cook for 10 mts, keep adding all the above masalas within a span of 2 mts so all the oil in the spices will infuse in the gravy. Add the Rajma with the cooked water you can mash little of the rajma and add more water as it tends to become thick. Add the Mint leaves on the top of the dish as a garnish Rajma masla can be had with chapattis and white steamed rice. The taste of the Rajma increases the next day
